Wild Iris

de l’espèce

An elegant, ever-renewing bloom
The large wild iris forms broad clumps of dark green, ribbon-like leaves, reminiscent of traditional irises. Delicate white flowers emerge at the tips of the stems, adorned with yellow spots and pale purple markings that guide pollinators to the flower's heart.
Each flower remains open for only one or two days, but the plant continuously produces new buds. This succession of blooms allows it to remain attractive for much of the year in tropical climates.
Easy to grow and highly resilient, the Wild Iris is often used to structure flowerbeds or border pathways. Its evergreen foliage also maintains decorative appeal even outside of flowering periods.
Like spider lilies or certain agapanthus, the large wild iris brings elegance and lightness to tropical gardens thanks to its refined flowers and graphic habit.
