Act for the biodiversity

The GardenEngage

Balata Garden is dedicated daily to the preservation of Martinique's biodiversity and to sharing knowledge.

Through its involvement with SOS Faune Sauvage Antilles-Guyane, a member of IUCN, the garden is part of an international network dedicated to the protection of flora and fauna.

This involvement supports its efforts in species conservation, public awareness, and contributing to conservation projects.

The house
Creole
Open to the garden, this traditional house transports its visitors. Stepping onto its period tiles, admiring its tiled roof from the Trois Îlets pottery, and taking the time to admire the garden from this spacious terrace – that's also part of discovering Balata.
