Bloodleaf

de l’espèce

Vibrant foliage all year long
The bloodleaf plant develops flexible stems bearing large, oval leaves in exceptionally vibrant hues. Depending on the variety, the foliage can display various shades of red, burgundy, purple, or magenta. Lighter veins further enhance the plant's graphic appeal.
Its small, whitish flowers emerge in inconspicuous clusters but generally go unnoticed. The species' main appeal lies in its foliage, which retains its vibrancy for much of the year in tropical climates.
Thanks to its rapid growth and ease of care, the bloodleaf plant is often used to structure plantings and create colorful contrasts. Paired with green or variegated foliage plants, it adds depth and brightness to landscape designs. Like the aluminum plant or certain foliage begonias, it demonstrates that the most remarkable plants are not always those that produce the most spectacular flowers.
